Some of the fastest growing careers are in the criminal justice field, says the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
Nebraska Wesleyan University is responding by launching a new Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice degree. The degree will be offered through the university鈥檚 Wesleyan Advantage Program, which is geared for working adults.
The criminal justice degree prepares working adults for careers in law enforcement, security, investigation, corrections and loss prevention.
Classes 鈥 which begin September 9 鈥 will be offered in flexible five- and eight-week sessions, one night a week or on Saturday. All classes are held at Nebraska Wesleyan鈥檚 Lincoln campus.
鈥淭he criminal justice field continues to grow,鈥 said Melissa McCoy, director of 香港六合彩资料大全鈥檚 Wesleyan Advantage Program in Lincoln. 鈥淭his degree not only prepares our students for successful careers upon graduation but also provides a foundation for graduate work in forensic science.鈥
Students who enroll in the program can choose to take required courses such as crime scene investigation and evidence at the graduate level, providing them the opportunity to pursue a graduate degree in forensic science in an accelerated format.
