Nebraska Wesleyan University鈥檚 final art exhibition of the year will feature the work of its graduating art students.
The exhibit, titled 鈥淟oading,鈥 will run from Tuesday, April 24ththrough Saturday, May 5th. An opening reception will be held on Friday, April 27thfrom 5 to 7 p.m. in Elder Gallery, located inside the Rogers Center for Fine Arts at 50thStreet and Huntington Ave.
The following seniors will be features:
- Casey Callahan 鈥Omaha, Neb. Painting that explores digital manifestation of memory.
- Emma Carlson 鈥 Waterloo, Neb. Water color, oil pastels and ink including an illustrated children鈥檚 book, 鈥淭he Little Kite that Lost His Flight.鈥
- Kurstin Dean 鈥Lincoln, Neb. Ceramic gourd vessels and small ceramic discs with a flower mandala image.
- Joelle Sandfort 鈥Lincoln, Neb. Painting and installation including handmade books using leftover studio materials.
Elder Gallery is open Tuesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, 1 to 4 p.m. The exhibit is free and open to the public.
